A new affiliate marketing error and time is still to think that their "product" is the product of the merchant.
Even if one can certainly see their business from this perspective, it puts you in the mindset of "pushing the link, rather than building a relationship with potential clients.
Super successful affiliates understand that their work is not for sale, but Presell "and their product is contained.
Look at this from a perspective of the customer to see why the construction of targeted content and interactive site is so powerful, and why this type of site can dramatically increase your commissions.
1. Shopping and connection
When the average online buyers, he or she is likely to have a list of trusted sites already in mind. This is particularly true for certain categories of products in the market for tangibles.
However, there is a large pool of potential customers seeking information and do research before buying. These may be the first Internet clients or May, they enter a special interest group and have a lot of comparison to be made before making a decision.
These are the clients you can take your site with quality content.
But I would recommend a step beyond the binding of certain items or the establishment of a newsletter. Instead, build a site that creates a sense of community.
In other words, to provide a place where people can connect their interests with others. Why?
Simple: Any site that creates a feeling of support is underway to generate trust, spawn of mouth, referrals and attract visitors. Your site becomes a "hub" or "authority" on a subject, making it an ideal "jumping point" in the procurement process.
It's like shopping with friends. There is safety in numbers. It is also much more activity where ideas are freely shared. Not only that, a customer-focused, interactive website allows you to gather feedback and quickly adapt to the needs of your target market.
2. Designing a Community
Establishing this type of site is no more difficult than creating a site with static content, it just requires a little more advanced planning.
What you need:
- The structured content - message board system - Newsletter - subsidiary of multiple related products
This affiliate model is based on multiple products to promote within your niche. For example, say you chose "The South Beach Diet" as a niche.
For the benefit of your model, you have a selection of products such as: a South Beach Diet e-book, a South Beach Diet recipes e-book, a shop recommended for vitamins or supplements, etc..
Your content should be structured around beginning, intermediate and advanced topics related to food. Your newsletter will focus on the content of these subjects also, but with a strengthening of recommended "solution" is to say, your products affiliate. Of course, your affiliate links will be sprinkled throughout the content online as well.
Now here's where a clever tactic comes in. You set up a forum for customers who bought your recommended products through your link. Their ability to create user names and participate in the forum is at the expense mailing your receipt of purchase.
However, the general sections of the forum is open to all guest visitors for viewing. These items must be focused discussions on the success of the user with the product (s).
Basically, what you did was put in place a "group of the user for a product where one did not exist before.
This accomplishes several things. It allows your loyal visitors to view preselling for you, and create additional content on the fly. It creates an atmosphere of trust, but also allows the visitor to be a "peer pressure" in the sales process, which, taking the object out of your sales site in the wings.
Finally, the forum will give you access to a wealth of data: customer opinions and experiences, their feelings about the products they seek, and really much more. You can quickly adjust your bids based on this feedback, and compile a list of great ideas for creating your own product, a product that meets and exceeds their expectations, because you know now what they did and did not like competitors products you just sold.
The type of site that I just described to you is the same type used by most successful super-affiliates.
Of course, you can still do very well using just a single page newsletter and promote a product. However, if you want to target a niche and to plumb its depths, the expansion of this model is the one I recommend.
So go ahead and set up landing pages, the collection began and led the response test, you get to different niches.
When you click on the hungry and hot, go ahead and up the page a product model and build an interactive, super-hub affiliation. You'll soon find yourself dominates its niche, and able to reap the benefits of a variety of products available!
